Episode 78: The Soft Sound of Their Voice

Hearing an old song on the radio, hitting the snooze button on the weekends indefinitely, and having more than enough of all that you need -- these are everyday happinesses.

Having enough, of whatever it is that you need to have enough of.

The sizzling sound of a sandwich in a panini press.

Hearing an oldies song on the radio that you used to love so much.

Pulling someone close and smelling the laundry detergent on their clothes.

A Japanese zen garden.

A big sprawling lawn to play silly games on.

Not setting an alarm on the weekend.

People that really understand your sense of humor.

A profusion of wildflowers, hillsides set almost ablaze with wild orange poppies.

Accomplishing something you’ve been working towards for months.

Grinding pepper from a peppermill.

Water with slices of cucumber floating in it.

Surprise parties where the person is really surprised.

Listening to someone else sing.

Sunflowers so tall they loom over the neighbors fence.

When they say the groom can kiss the bride and everyone cheers.

Pouring yourself a tiny cup of coffee at the grocery store to enjoy as you walk around.

Videos of puppies sleeping in a big pile.

The softest smoothest skin.
